TEACHERS CHRISTMAS LUNCH

Mary's Boy child

On the 20th December 2010 at 12.30 pm, the staff of St. Dominic Savio High School had their Christmas lunch. It was a wonderful experience of fellowship and togetherness with a variety of songs and games being organized by the Pre-Primary teachers. There was laughter and song while everyone enjoyed themselves with the games that were organized. One could feel the warmth of the Season and the merriment of the occasion.

The games made all participate in groups and come up with novel and creative ways of showing one the meaning of the season. Shopping was on the list with a key person trying to convince the others through sign language what was on the shopping list. The teachers had their sides splitting with laughter. Fr. Bosco Pereira was the judge for the occasion and had a word or two to mention commenting on the creativity of each group.

PRE-PRIMARY & PRIMARY CHRISTMAS TREE CELEBRATIONS

On Monday the 20th December, the Pre-Primary and the Primary section had their Christmas Tree Celebrations for the students. They began with a beautiful Christmas play depicting the Creation of the world by God and how everything was good and beautiful but slowly due to sin the world began to deteriorate. Soon God send his only begotten son, Jesus as  the Hope and Light of the world. He brought with Him Love and Joy. The youngsters asked us to take care of the beautiful creation God gave us and to use it well without destroying nature and its beauty.

DOMINIC SAVIO SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PANORAMA - DAY TWO - 19 DECEMBER

The Second Day of the Christmas Panorama began on a serious note with a Christmas Play and the Christmas message by Fr. Rector.
The Christmas Play

The play had a beautiful message of gifts that last forever and that each one of us should have, Love, Peace, Joy, Caring and Sharing with each other. These are things that last forever ever rather than just gifts that do not.

Fr. Rector spoke on being generous and outgoing and thinking of the other rather than oneself. He wished one and all A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
