PRIMARY FAREWELL TO MRS DOROTHY DIAS

The Primary Teachers had a farewell for Mrs. Dorothy Dias, the Supervisor of the Primary on the 27 October 2010. Mrs. Dorothy served in the Institution of St. Dominic Savio for over 25 years as a teacher and then as a Supervisor. She was a gentle lady who was soft spoken and touched the lives of many a youngster in her care as teacher and supervisor.

The various classes expressed their appreciation and gratitude to Mrs. Dorothy by presenting hand made cards, bouquets of flowers and their BIG smiles.

At 12 noon the staff of the primary together with the Salesians met in the Rector's office to felicitate and thank Mrs. Dorothy. Marina Rangel read the address on behalf of the staff and then they sang a song to express their gratitude.

Fr. Godfrey D'Souza in his thoughts said that Mrs. Dorothy was a soft spoken lady who reached out to many a youngster during her time as teacher and supervisor. She was gentle and humble and was loved by one and all. There certainly were many who felt sad and shed a tear or two.
