VISIT OF FR. FRANCESCO CEREDA & FR. CHRYS

The Salesian Community of St. Dominic Savio's was indeed very happy to welcome in our midst Rev. Fr. Francesco Cereda the General Councillor of the Congregation in charge of Formation of the Salesian world. Fr. Cereda together with our former Provincial, Fr. Chrys Saldanha spent the evening with us. It was a happy occasion. 

He was down in India and had a meeting of the SPCSA (Salesian Provincial Conference of South Asia) in Goa from the 7th to 13th September 2012.

Thank You Fr. Cereda and Fr. Chrys for giving us an opportunity of enjoying your company. We wish you all the best in the programs ahead.

PRE PRIMARY ELOCUTION

On Saturday, 8th September the Pre Primary kids had their Elocution in the A.V. Hall of the school. It was so wonderful to see the little tiny tots come up and recite what they learned.

Some of them are sure to turn out orators and poets.

Well done teachers for inspiring the little ones and building confidence in them at such an early stage.

Congrats to the Parents who followed up the children at home.

Remember that Don Bosco said, 'Education is a matter of the heart.'

PRE PRIMARY TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATIONS

This morning, 7th September 2012 the Pre Primary Children had their Teachers' Day Celebrations in class. It was a wonderful gesture of love and appreciation by the tiny tots of the institution. Thanks in a special way to Mrs. Helen Fernandes the Supervisor together with a number of parents who made this day a beautiful day for the Teachers of the Pre Primary Section. Each Teacher and the Rector and the Principal got a Star for being a wonderful teacher.

The little kids said it in song, dance, a poem and wishes and a bunch of flowers and bouquets for all the teachers.
